My wireless mouse will work for a few minutes(has new batteries) and then freeze up. I reboot and it works again for awhile. Is there a virus affecting the mouse, driver problem or do I just need a new mouse. Thank You

I suppose all 3 are possibilities. Some things to try. In Device Manger uninstall the mouse reboot and let windows reinstall it. Go to the mouse manufacturer's web site and get the latest drivers. Are you running any antiviral and antispyware utilities?
