Well I used one of the admin's page on souping it up with the "about:config" options in the addressbar and setting higher max requests on the network:http:pipelining, maxrequests, proxy.pipelining. Now it seems that while the pages always load faster sometimes html on my yahoo email gets screwed up. IE: I see

Hello blah blah blah alkdlsf lakjfsdlf

    and

    Sincerely
    John Doe
    786 anywhere Ave.

mixed together. Also myspace just started using flash 9.0 and on Mozilla it won't download it for whatever reason???

Should I just uninstall and keep the defaults on reinstall? I'm pretty much hooked on Firefox as my browser and don't like Netscape, IE, or others that much anymore. Any ideas let me know, thanks.

PS: I don't think I have a browser hack at all because I have tried the https hookup remotely to my company and it works fine for FTP transfers and all my checking found no bad code on the OS so it must just be the browser.

Might be a good idea to uninstall and go for the latest 1.5.05.

I just went myspace and the new plugin loaded automatically and properly.

Then forget the 'about:config' stuff and just install the Firefox extention Fasterfox. It is configurable depending how aggressive you want it to be.
