Was wondering if it is possible to install MS Office 2010 on both sides of a dual boot (Windows 7 and 8) with the same product key? It would be running on the same computer and only one instance of the program could run at a time.

It could be installed, but is still counts as a second install.

I did exactly that a few yews back with Front Page 2002. I had to do the call up, and speak to a Microsoft Rep for Product Activation. Initially told me I could not do it, but they did activate my copy on both sides of the computer under the same argument. Single Instance use of the program on a single physical computer. They probably considered that a loophole, and plugged it, but I would not take No for an answer unless they told me No, and told me why.

Thanks for the feedback. I looked in a couple of places and got mixed answers so I decided to give it a try - it worked!
