I have a full version of MS Office 07 Pro. This is my copy with code.
Need to know why when I open Word it has to Configure it every time.
If I close it after that and reopen it works fine. Next day the same thing over again.
My Office 03 done the same thing when I was using it.

I have had the same problem when I had Office 10 Beta installed at the same time as 2007 version

I still 2003 installed, so should I remove it?

Because you have 2 version installed, each time the current copy when open must be configured.
If you are NOT use 2003 I would remove it. After remove of 2003 you may need to do a repair on 2007.

There is a registry setting for this

Code:
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]I had an annoying issue with Office 2007 running the configuration installer each time I tried to open Word. I am running Windows Vista. Here is a fix I found off the Internet, I hope it helps someone else.[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]The fix to the problem is very simple as it turns out – simply run the following commands (by pressing the Windows Key+R or typing it into the Start/Run command box. Use the line with Office\11.0 if you have Office 2003 installed and Office\12.0 if you have Office 2007 installed. You can use both if you have both installed :

reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1

reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1[/FONT][/COLOR]
