    This was put in there by HP to remind me to check the print carthridges are something to that effect. I have looked in both HKLM and HKLU in all the Runs and can't find it. It is not causing a problem just one of those little annoyances. Also is changed to norun in the win.ini. How do I get rid of them?

    Start/ Run/ regedit.

    Go to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    Software
    Microsoft
    Windows
    CurrentVersion

    Then check the contents of:

    Run
    Run-
    RunOnceEx
    RunServices
    RunServicesOnce

    Most of the entries will be in Run and Run- but check all of the Run keys.

    Run HJT and look for any F0 or F1 entries.
    HP probably put an entry in the run= line in win.ini. How nice of them!!

    In win.ini look for a line that looks like
    run=hpfsched

    I had already done all the above. I went back to win.ini and removed the line in the image below and the two items are gone. Doesn't seem to have effected anything else.
