Hi, I can usually troubleshoot for my friends but this one has me confused, anyone have an idea how to fix this:
she has a problem shutting down her outlook express...she gets an error report "Msimn.exe application error - instruction at 0x10051649 - referenced memory "0x016c24e8" could not be read" Is this a registry problem?

    Hi!

Is she using a spam blocker (sometimes comes with an antivirus/firewall)? Does she have all the updates installed (for OE and Windows)? Which version of OE?

Insert the windows CD. Start>Run... type sfc /scannow and ENTER, let it run. When it's done, restart.

You can also try reinstalling Internet explorer and OE.

    Does she have SP2 installed?

Also, when you get the error, click on "details..." if possible.:)

The mailbox at the server could be full. Log into the ISP mailbox and clear everything out.
    See if that helps.
