Solved: Msn Messenger keeps signing me out

    Hello,

    I recently downloaded the new Windows live Messenger. Every time i try to sign in, it signs me in for about 4 seconds and then signs me right back out.?

    I am getting really frustrated and I have ran out of options, please if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.

    i tried to run the program but it gives me an error message stating that "THE APPLICATION HAS FAILED TO INITIALIZE PROPERLY"

    how do i check that ?? there is no error message given once msn signs me out

    i've tried everything from uninstalling the application, reformatting and still nothing. If anyone can please help me out i won't appreciate it.... Tech Support is my last resort!...

    It sounds like you may not be accepting the cookie that's needed to stay logged in. Have you checked that you're not blocking it?

    I got your private message.

    You're using an outdated version of HijackThis. Please post a new one from below:

    Please click here to download and install version 2.0.2 of the HijackThis Installer.

    Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile.

    The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next post.

    Do not fix anything

    Shut down Windows Live Messenger.

    Click Start
    Click Run
    Enter: %appdata%\microsoft
    Click OK.

    Then right click the MSN Messenger folders, choose Delete, and then confirm the operation.

    Restart the computer. Sign in again.
