I run XP (Home) and something ate (or corrupted) my msvcrt.dll (whatever that is). I had, I'm sorry to say, downloaded a free trial of a pop-up blocker, didn't like it, and opted to uninstall it. A few days later I went to print a USPS label for an eBay sale and my very reiliable HP 722C was dead in the water. I tried to reinstall the printer software and drivers from the HP CD and kept getting this (approx.) message...
    "Error 21 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\msvcrt.dll (system file)'
or something real close to that. Other messages followed, none were encouraging.
I just don't know what to try next. I would really appreciate any and all suggestions... we rely on our printer A LOT... I have many photos, we print our own (Hallmark) greeting cards, I am involved in poetry, and am selling off books on eBay and get a price break from the Post Office by printing my own postage labels. None of these things happen without a working printer.
    Thanks Much - bwanasafari
