I have an HP M8000N desktop now running Windows 7 Home Premium
    AMD x2 5200
    4gb ram
    Nvidia 8600 graphics card.
The built in multi card reader has stopped working. All the drive letters, H, I, J, k etc have gone missing under "my computer"
My USB hard drive still shows and works fine.
When I look in the device manager, there are no yellow or red warning tags, though I don't know what to look under to try updating or reinstalling the drivers.
Other than that, this computer runs great.
The card reader was working after upgrading from Vista.
If you need any more info, let me know.
Any ideas where to start looking to try and solve this problem?
Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hi!
Multi card reader is USB based, so you should check your drivers there.

    Thanks for the help.
In device manager, Realtek card reader says its working properly, but in reality it's not.
    Any more ideas?

Yesterday I only rolled back the driver and updated it, with no effect.
Today I uninstalled, rebooted, and all is fine again.
