    My configuration:

    Windows XP Proffesional (SP1)
    Intel Pentium 4 2.80GHz HT
    2x256MB DDRII 400 (Dual-Channel)
    NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900XT

I've been playing Guild Wars more than 6 months now, and nothing like this ever happened.
Today it froze 2 times in 10 min.
My computer tended to restart when i didn't play GW (and when I played GW), but now that doesn't happen. Only freezing now.
I did the memtest for 1 hour and I got no errors.
Event Viewer displays the following error (in several places):

"The Parallel port driver service failed to start due to the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it."

I switched my memory modules into different slots, and it didn't help.
I've been getting another error for quite some time (i dunno if it's related, but it might help):

The error that i got today isn't quite like this one, it says "memory cannot be written".
Does it mean that my RAM is not working properly ?

    Thanks in advance.

Tried to reinstall Guild Wars yet?

And as far as I know a memory access error can have loads of different causes, but I don't think it's because of your RAM not working properly. The experts will probably know ^^

Make sure you update the video drivers.

I updated my display drivers and it didn't help.
It happened again, only this time it restarted and I was still in the menu.
I scanned with Spybot, Ad-Aware and Kaspersky and nothing came up.
