Just got a virus that began to open up web pages on me... my programs tried to catch them (norton and microsoft antispyware) but to no avail. Now my computer reboots and will not let me do anything. As soon as I try to open something, even Windows explorer, it reboots. I can start in safe mode. Im on my laptop to post. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Here is my log while in safe mode:

Fix this

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [sys229] E:\WINDOWS\system32\sys229.exe

Boot to safe mode and delete

E:\WINDOWS\system32\sys229.exe

Post a new log from normal mode

If the net is back run this

Download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
· Install ewido.
· During the installation, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
· Launch ewido
· It will prompt you to update click the OK button and it will go to the main screen
· On the left side of the main screen click update
· Click on Start and let it update.
· DO NOT run a scan yet. You will do that later in safe mode.

Restart your computer into safe mode now. Perform the following steps in safe mode:

Run Ewido:
· Click on scanner
· Put a check by the following before you scan:
o Binder
o Crypter
o Archives
· Click the Start Scan button to start the scan.
· During the scan it will prompt you to clean files, click OK
· When the scan is finished, look at the bottom of the screen and click the Save report button.
· Save the report to your desktop
Post that log

The only log I could get to was Norton. This is what was listed at the time of the initial problem:

File Name, Threat Name, Original Location

avpx64.sys Backdoor.Haxdoor E:\Windows\system32

qz.sys Backdoor.Haxdoor E:\Windows\system32

cmdexe[1].exe Backdoor.Nibu E:\Documents and Settings\Nan\Local Settings|Temporary Internet... (This is all I can read of it)

sys4318.exe Backdoor.Nibu E:\WINDOWS

See if these files are still there to be deleted

E:\Windows\system32\avpx64.sys

E:\Windows\system32\qz.sys

E:\WINDOWS\sys4318.exe

In IE TOOLS - OPTIONS – Delete files

Run another scan with Norton

First 2 were still there and I deleted them. Ran Norton. Found nothing. Turned off computer for the night. got up this morning and rebooted and it "seems" fine now. I downloaded and installed Ewido but have not run a scan yet.
