I ned help in trying to uninstall ie9. I have tried all the methods I could find on several sites and forums but no success.

I would keep ie9, but I can not click on any link and get a site, just a blank page, so I guess it would be best to unstill ie9 and revert to ie8.

I am using a four year old Toshiba laptop with Vista 32 bit system.

I realize that ie9 is not a program and appears under Windows updates. However, this does not show up on my installed updates. My version of ie9 is KB2761465 and does not appear in the install updates until 6/18/11 when a security update for ie9 was installed.

Prior to that, the last ie8 security update appeared two months before o 4/11/11 when the ie8 security update was installed. There are about a dozen updates in between, but when looking at the details of each update, nothing mentioning either ie8 or 9 exists.

I thought I would uninstall all the rest of the updates mentioning ie9, but then I might miss the original ie9 update installation.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Bill

I tried the reset without success. I also realized PC Cleaner was no good and have uninstalled it. As you see, I have been trying every site or forum I could find. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Bill
