I'm trying to install Gladinet. It says I need .net framework 2.0.50727. So I installed .net framework 4.whatever. Gladinet says I still need the older version. So I try to install 3.5 which I've read has 2.0.50727 included, but it won't install and the error log says something like "version 2.0a not installed". WTH? I can't make out which version on the MS site is 2.0a. Can someone help me out?

Why don't they just include all the older versions with the newest version, for crimeny?

Thanks, but I'm getting the same error. This is the msg in the error log:

[01/16/13,05:23:43] Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a: [2] Error: Installation failed for component Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a. MSI returned error code 1603
[01/16/13,05:24:06] WapUI: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a is not installed.

Thanks, but that didn't do it. I tried dl'ing and installing 2.0 but got a different error msg. Tired of messing with it. I'm just going to use Google Drive, it does the same thing as Gladinet. I'm only going to be using this particular computer for a few more weeks anyway. Thanks again.
