I'm getting this error when I try to burn a mpeg file to DVD with Nero Ultra 7
It only seems to happen with this one particular file.
... The instruction at "ox0052eed4" referenced memory at "0x00000004" The memory could not be "read" Click OK to close the program.
Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks :) Dave

Anything different about that file, like size? Have you tried moving the file to a different location? Any other problems with the machine?

Elvandil: NOPE ... I had 4 files in a folder on my desktop and 3 burned to DVD fine but this 4th one kept throwing up this error. I tried 4 times with the same result. I did a google search on the error and found nothing. Thanks :) Dave

    Try re-encoding it with TMPGEnc.

Elvandil: Thanks that would probably work but I D/L'd the program and can't figure out how it works. Thanks anyway. Dave

I'm not good enough with it to advise, but if you make a copy of the original and try re-encoding, you can do a bit of trial-and-error without danger of loss.
