I just want to confirm something here. We are running a server upstairs with our database on it and most computers can access it. My question is why would using the database be faster on 1 pc than on another pc? They are both pretty close in specs. Thanks for any answer.

We are using Access slowly converting over to SQL. I don't have the specs of the computers but i do know that the pc that is having the troubles with the database running slowly is better than one that is not having any problems with it at all.

A simple cause of the speed difference is the network card speed. Are both computers connected at the same speed? 100MB or 1.0GB?
