I have just received an email regarding a new uninstaller called, "advanced uninstaller Pro 11" At the moment I use Revo. Is there any advantage to switching to the new one? (or disadvantage)

personally, I like Revo.....but I've never used the 'advanced uninstaller'.

Just as an aside, if I end up getting an email touting some products wishes, I generally don't get that product.....;)

Yes I do agree. If it was that good perhaps some of the big players would incorporate it in their products.

I never buy anything that someone is trying to sell me.
If I need anything I go look for it myself, that way I at least get one independent opinion.......

Oh, you'd be quite surprised.......you are probably old enough to remember DIP switches.....spent 8 hours (literally) configuring and reconfiguring my printer back in like 88 or something, used all the power words I know, only to notice it wasn't plugged in........

Ah that's where the term dip-stick came from??......

I Always struggled with what was on and what was off as the labelling was awful.
