Solved: New Window

I used to be able to go to file-new window, and open up another page for viewing. Now, it just opens a new window, the closes the old one. I do not know what has been done to the computer, as i have been at college while the family has been messing witht the computer. what happened and how do i fix it.

 

Assuming you're using Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, scroll down to and uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts," click OK. See if that fixes it.

 

that did it. thank you so much. i kinda feel like an idiot now, spent a few hours looking through those tabs and coudnt think of which one to press.
