I have recently bought a toshiba laptop with vista premium installed and cannot connect to internet. I am with telewest who have just changed to virgin media.
I have read the forums related to this problem but i am unsure (very new to this) if i have dsl or cable connection although i think it is cable. Modem is a motorola connected with a screwed cable and a telephone type lead that connects to laptop. My question is:- would a adsl router work for me or would i need something else?
