I recently updated my Vista nvidia driver helper V 175.21 to V 178.13. Now all round objects are oval and typed words vary in intensity from dark to light. Is there some tweak available that might make the letters consistant in density?

In Control Panel is there nVidia Control Panel ? You should be able to adjust settings there . Round objects displaying as oval is usually indicative of wrong screen resolution . Not sure about font 'density' but think it's reasonable to surmise the updated helper has applied different default settings which you should be able to override .

You were so right. Changing resolution fixed both problems. Thanks
