Whenever I try to install Office 2003 Professional onto a new Sony Viao laptop model # VGN-FZ340E, running Vista Home Premium I get an error message stating " missing file
A2561405.cab "
I select the option to browse for the file and point to it and click OK and the error message comes right back. I even copied the cab file to the desktop and pointed to it. Still didn't work.
I have tried an original multi user CD and also a copy which I have used many times before without any problems. I even used it on another Vista computer afterwards and it worked fine.
I have not installed SP1 yet because I am not sure if it will fix things or mess them up like WIndows XP SP2 did.
I googled the error and found a link telling how to use regedit to fix this problem and it didn't help either.

Has any one else run into this nagging problem and maybe found a way to fix it?
