After reading this site and searching the net, I tried to rename the user, backed up files, started from scratch and tried to import the old files....still no success...I need some actual walk me through it help.....I went to the mail icon in the control panel...set-up a user then associated a data file, in the email section, I tried to switch the default file to the one I wanted....still no luck....Please, if you are very well knowledgeable about Outlook 2003, I need help....I have some business files which I am trying to restore and business contacts to contact so I'm in a bind because Outlook is not working....Stoe

I have a Toshiba Laptop running Windows Vista 32 bit Home Edition.

I tried the scanpst.exe after I downloaded the fix outlook tools from the net....I created a new user associated the outlook1 data file to it but it still will not open...tried opening as the administrator and no luck.....is there a simple solution? I am very frustrated....
