    HI Everyone,

New here, but hoping to help. I've created a an email template with outlook 2007. It's HTML, and needs to be for formatting reasons and a logo. I save the template...but when I open it up to send a message, Outlook has stripped out the HTML and is displaying as plain text.

I've searched the forums with no luck, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your compose in this message format set to HTML? Sounds like it may be set to RTF or something.

Interesting... In trying to recreate, I created a new message, and it worked fine. However, my original file, which was an HTML message, is opened as plain text.

I checked it again, resaved the template as HTML and it opens as plain text. A new template however seems to be working fine.

I will mark this as solved. I guess, thank you cause I was making a documetn showing the error and in trying to recreate it, it seems to be fixed. I did play with many check boxes relating to HTML vs Plain Text and how outlook opens the various files, so it was probably that.

    Thanks again and take care.
