Have a look in the "Junk E mail" folder you may have settings set to high and all mail is being sent there.
Also do you have any "Rules" set to run on start up?
If so you might what to check them.

I checked junk mail settings and they are very loose. All mail goes through my gmail account before being forwarded to Outlook. But thanks and if you have any other ideas I'd like to hear them as I'mall out of bright ideas.

Are you sure that GMail is sending to Outlook any mail?

Set up these accounts so they arrive at Outlook NOT in Gmail, if they arrive directly, then it is something that is happening with GMail.

Why are you doing this through Gmail?

Excellent suggestion although I have never had a problem with Gmail. But at the bottom of the outlook window it will say "receiving 5 of 10 emails. etc. So am assuming Outlook is receiving sth but I wil try sendin sth direct to my ISP. And thanx for the suggestion
