Outlook has started sending e-mail with attached file that is too large to send. When I right click on the e-mail and click on Delete, nothing happens.

Likely it is because Outlook is already trying to send the attachment.

One possible way to solve this is to disconnect from the Internet. Then Outlook can't send the e-mail. Highlight it and press shift-delete (so it won't even go to the deleted items folder)

Disconnecting from the Internet and then deleting the e-mail with the excessively large attachment worked. Thank you!

The disconnect from the internet and holding down shift while pressing delete thing worked for me too.

    Thank you!
