I have a problem with Incredimail and Outlook Express.................everytime I open Incredimail, it says the connection was rejected by incoming mail server 127.0.0.1 and when I open outlook express it says The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.charter.net', Server: '127.0.0.1', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
What antivirus program are you using?
It sounds like the antivirus program is set to scan your e-mail messages and changing your server account to 127.0.0.1
Try changing the server account back to its correct setting, as in: pop.charter.net

I changed the incredimail back to its settings at it works now and I did the same for outlook express and now I am having password problems so I can't login correctly. Any info on that? Yes both the incredimail and outlook were changed to 127.0.0.1, so I had to change them. I use Avast anti virus.
Are you having password problems for both messaging programs or just Outlook Express?
Recreate your e-mail account in Outlook Express to see if that resolves the problem.
