Solved: outlook express carnt send

    using me os outlook express says can not open address book please reinstall wont let me send email

    1.Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
    2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs, and then click the Windows Setup tab.
    3. Make sure address book is checked off.

    tryed that foxe didnt work any thing elsre i could do

    What OS and version of OE are you using.?

    Do a search for files named *.wab (if you are using XP or 2k remember to tick search hidden files and folders under advanced options)
    Once you've found the file rightclick and click on properties, then make sure read-only is not ticked.

    Double posting creates confusion. It would still be good to use the spell checker when you post.

    We went through quite a bit. Bringing it up as a new post is only going to go down the same path. If you want to continue, post back to your original thread. Maybe someone will come up another idea.

    If you can't handle the possible fixes, maybe it is time to take it to a local computer shop?
