Solved: Outlook Express resets settings

I have a problem with Outlook Express.
I set up my account details, and it seems to work for a while.
But then I come to it a coup eof days later and my incoming pop server has changed to 127.0.0.1
When I reset it to the correct settigns, it works for a while, and then resets to 127.0.0.1 again
I have checked fro viruss and spyware, finding nothing.
Can you suggest a cause for this behaviour and possible solutions please

If you have virus scanning of outgoing mail, disable it. You don't need to scan outgoing email.

I have changed from McAfee to AVG, and switched off system restore.
This seems to have solved the problem.

Glad you have it solved. :)
I don't think system restore had anything to do with the problem. You might want enable it again.
