Hi la859

Welcome to Tech Support Guy Forums!

Are you wanting to move your messages from Microsoft Outlook to Outlook Express?

If so, start Outlook Express:
File > Import > Messages > Microsoft Outlook
Select the folders you want to Import from Microsoft Outlook and click Next.
The Import will begin and you will receive a message when it has completed.

Is that what you are looking for?

No, I wanted to change my default mail program back to OE 6. I can't do it under options there is not a listing for OE 6, just Outlook. Thanks!

OK, now I understand. ;)
The following command should return Outlook Express as an option.

With all windows closed.
Start > Run
Key in:
"C:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe" /reg

Verify this is the path that msimn.exe is located and be sure to include the quotes.
This is a silent command, there will be no indication as to whether it worked or not.

Then open Outlook Express,
Tools > Options > General tab,
and verify Outlook Express is your default messaging program at the bottom of the page.
If the buttons are greyed out, then Outlook Express has been set as your default messaging program.

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs tab
Verify Outlook Express is the program showing in the E-Mail: window.
Apply, OK to close and save.

Let us know if that works.
