In my data base, I have one main table related to many slave tables in one-to-many relationships. I would like the primary key in the main table to populate to the other tables, as a foriegn key, without having to type it in each time I create a record in one of the other slave tables. Any ideas?

    Jiimandjo, welcome to the Forum.
Well you should be using Forms & Subforms for your data entry. When you link the Main form (based on the main table) to the Subform via the master key/foriegn key Access auto populates the foriegn key for you as soon as you enter soem data in to the subform.
