I am trying to print. No problems until today. When I attempt to print, message pops up, "Before you can perform printer-related tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer. Do you want to install a printer now?" (Yes or No) When I choose Yes message pops up, "Operation could not be completed. The Print Spooler Service is not running." (OK) It goes no farther. How can I clear this up? I did a restore and nothing changed. I have searched on the HELP pages to no avail. Can you help me?

What kind of printer were you using? Did you try reinstalling the printer drivers via the CD it came with? That's what I would try first

Go to Start> Control Panel> Performance and Maintenance> Administrative Tools> double click Services> scroll down to Print Services> right click and select properties> on startup button, select automatic on the drop down and click apply. This will start the service automatically.
