    Should of left your problem, and then posted your solution - someone may experience the same thing

    hi, your right mate so here is the solution, scanners only generate pictures of things.

    If you want to turn it into text, like a Word document, you need to get it OCR'd. Some scanner software will do that all in one operation, if you tell it to. Others you may have to do two passes - first scan - then OCR=Optical character recognition after its been OCR'd you can copy and past it.
