Not sure if this is the right part of the forum, but it seemed the most appropriate.

My problem is that i am trying to change a partition on my hardrive so that it becomes a recovery partition.

So far i have copied the contents of my windows 7 disc into the partition and tried using the following command:

E:

cd /boot

bootsect/nt60 E:

only to receive the following:

'Target volumes will be updated with the BOOTMGR compatible bootcode.

Could not map drive partitions to the associated volume device objects: Access is denied.'

I need help to change the access to allow me to do this, please help :)
