I hope someone can tell me what this is....when i click on my browser or add-remove programs, among other things-this box pops up called RunAs.It asks which user account i want to use to run this program...then i have to tick or untick a box which says...Protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity.I have just uninstalled a program called Trojan Guarder....also i have Anti Trojan Shield running.Could it belong to one of these, and how do i get rid of it? Here is my HT log

I don't see anything in the scanlog to clearly identify the source. Did the problem begin just after you installed one of the programs you mention?

Since you have XP SP2, that is giving you the option to "protect". If you don't allow the "runas" to complete, is all normal after that?

In XP SP 2 you have the option of selecting Tools > Manage Add-ons and see if enabling/disabling anything there is related to the issue.

Check both the "loaded" and "used" options

Okedoke. Kind of hard to tell with XP SP2; you'd think the warning bar would tell you what specifically it is concerned about, but it doesn't. Maybe I'm missing something.
