    Hi,

I downloaded the trial version of Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Office edition and I found a problem with Word. When I open Word everything works okay, but when I start typing fast, it freezes, and after a few seconds it works again (with everything I had previously typed).

I was wondering if there was a fix for this or something I could do.

    Thanks

    1) Increase the amount of memory in your system.
    2) Thoroughly scan your system for adware, spyware and viruses
    3) Try a new keyboard to see if it solves the problem (unlikely)
    4) May be that a piece of your hardware is about to seriously malfunction.

Those are my guesses at the situation. Without being right there to narrow it down to just a few or one of these, hard to tell. There are many things that can make a system start to freeze intermittently.

niiiiiiiiiiiice........be sure to post your pics in the photos thread.....I got some good ones of monkeyboy at the ranch in there.....it's sort of mandatory for distinguished members to post pics of their vacations......you may have skipped over that on the fine print, most do......:)

Well, I have always been a bit skeptical of the "Distinguished" moniker! :D
I feel that it is severely misplaced on a few of us...after all, it is supposed to mean something like marked by eminence or made conspicuous by excellence, not just someone with nothing better to do than harass others on a website (such as me!!!!!!!!!!)....:p - and in such harassing, managing to post a lot...might be considered a cause for legal action in the real world!

Thought I'd better jump in here and bring this thread back to its topic. :D

Your problem sounds like low resources -- you might need more memory or to clean out your computer. For the latter problem, I suggest the free program CCleaner -- it really cleans out all the stuff that accumulates over time.
