as part of my job, I have to sign into certain sites using a user name and password. Normally, this is no problem. Today, when I enter the user name and password, the sine in page just resets and shows up as if I had not entered the user name or password at all. It makes me start over again.

When I attempt to sine in from another computer, using the exact same user name and password, it works just fine. I am really stumped. I can access other web sites from this computer, just not some of these sites that I have to user the user name and password.

    Any ideas

Have you tried clearing your cookies? The one you need for that site may have become corrupt.

What browser are you using, IE? If so, what version?

Have you tried with another browser such as Firefox?

Also temporarily disable your antivirus and/or firewall software since some of these can block cookies. If you can log in after doing this you just need to add exceptions for these sites in your software.

    Regards,

I just signed into this thread from my home computer so I can't try your suggestions until tomorrow. I am using IE and I believe it is verstion 8.0 ?

I will check the antivirus/firewall tomorrow but why would it suddenly not allow access to these sites...Friday it worked fine ?

Are you sure that the site that you are trying to into is NOT having issues?
