Hello all, I'm using WinRAR to compress a bunch of images into an archive so I can upload it online so others can download it, and I'm having some trouble. I've simply got the images named in numerical order (1,2,3, etc), and when I go to compress them, the archive ends up ordered as follows: 1, 10, 100, 101, 102, etc. I've downloaded WinRAR archives before where the images didn't get sorted in this way, and I'm wondering how to avoid it... it's not like it's a huge deal, but it IS kind of annoying to have the images not be in numerical order.

Any help is much appreciated! :)

Make all of the numbers 3 digits or 4 if they go into the thousands. 001, 002...010, 011...100, 101.

You can use a mass renamer like Rename Master to rename the files.
