    System Info:
    Windows XP Pro SP2
    Intel P4 2.79 GHz
    1GB Ram
Using Microsoft Outlook 2003 and Internet Explorer 6.0.2900.2180

-First of all Microsoft Outlook is working just fine. I am able to send and receive email without any issues.

-Outlook is going through an MS Exchange Server.

-With MS Outlook open and minimized, I try to send a link or page within IE by email (by clicking File > Send > Page by email or Link by email) I receive a message that states “Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable”. However outlook is working just fine.

-Within Outlook I have the following settings in place:

Tools > Options > Mail Format > Compose in this message format: set to HTML

-Within IE 6 I have the following settings in place:

Tools > Internet Options > Programs > Email: set to Microsoft Office Outlook
(Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser: box is checked)

This function within IE 6 is working on my other computer just fine. I’ve tried to match the setting on both computers. But still no luck. =(

Please help me fix this problem with IE not being able to send a webpage by email or link by email.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance,

    James
