Hello--we have a Toshiba TDP S35 projector we use at our church with a Presario c500 laptop running Vista home basic. Has always worked well, but Sunday I couldn't get a signal to the projector. The display graphics seem to have the same settings as always, and the little graphic pops up showing the signal going from one monitor to two, but nothing through the projector. The projector works fine with other laptops. There is a utility under personalize/display options that allows you to detect another monitor, and it says that the external monitor is detected, but nothing. Thanks for the help.

What resolution are you using on the projector?

The projector resolution is currently 1024 x 768. As far as I know, this has not changed since the last time it worked properly. I was wondering if a soldered connection on the VGA plug could be cracked from the constant use.
