This was my problem last night:

"I just tried to open my mail and i got this:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: '*******@rogers.com', Server: 'pop', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

    can someone help me please?"

well, i tried it this mornin and it works now, so I'll just leave it at that.

But I want to know what may have caused this error, if someone could explain.
    THanks a lot.(y)

That message 99.9% of the time is telling you that your ISP E-Mail server is down for some reason.
Wouldn't be concerned about it unless it happens quite often and then you should be calling the ISP to ask what is up with the E-Mail server!!
