Shouldn't I be able to find it by doing a search like this *.pst ? Cause I did and came up empty? Why is this, please?

are you using Outlook or Outlook Express?

try C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Where <user> is your username.

I'm assuming WXP is the OS

I looked there. It is not located there. The problem I am having is it is taken me 1 to 2 mins to open mail. Something is wrong and I can't figure out why.

can you open Outlook and the emails are there?

I try to open new mail and the app. closes. I am also getting the following error "the app. failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click OK to terminate the app". What can I do to fix this please?
