How can I destroy my Symantec Quarantine folder?

I got rid of Norton and switched to a new anti-virus software. While I was going through my computer, I noticed the folder and I'd like to safely get rid of it.

Is it possible? Do i have to format the drive? What?

I ran the tool. I ran it again. Everything was gone from before [I had used it several weeks ago]. But, the Quarantine folder still remains. It's in "C:\ProgramData\Symantec\SRTSP".I can't figure any way to delete it. Any other ideas?

Will it not normally delete when you highlight it and press Delete? Or right click it and choose Delete?
Or you can try deleting it in Safe Mode if it won't allow you to do it in Normal Mode.

No, I couldn't normally delete it.

But Safe Mode deleting worked! :)

    Thanks.
