Solved: quick question if someone has the time please

    On my daughters user account on a shared pc her desktop icons look like they have been cut in half then rejoined back to front...hope that made sense. All other user accounts are fine. They work ok so thats not a problem, just curious why they are like that and how to fix them. xp home sp2 IE7.


    I'd appreciate any answers if you have them.

    i could be completely wrong but has she changed the theme on her account? if so try changing it back to default xp theme, maybe that will resolve it?

    Hi database, her theme hadnt changed. Anyway I finally worked it out.. good old google. The solution was desktop properties/advanced tab then in item list picked icon changed size from 32 to 33 applied which made windows do what windows does. Its all good now even with changing it back to 32.
