 I am using a radeon 9100 series video card & am having a horrible time trying to find the catalyst updated driver for it. Can anyone help me please? All help will be greatly appreciated.. I am now using Catalyst Version 05.4 2D Version 6.14.10.6525, Package Version 8.212-050322a-022141C - Is there an updated driver available or am I running the latest one? I am going nuts trying to figure it all out.
    Thanks,

Doesn't a person need to update the system drivers on a regular basis? My video card is working fine, & it is an ATI. I just thought that I was supposed to update regularly. Also I went to DriverAgent.com & ran a scan & on the result page it said I need to update the video card. Do you know anything about that website & if it is reputable or not? Any help I can get is appreciated.
    Thanks!

Unless you are noticing problems with your card, an update is likely not needed. The most recent drivers mostly only have updates/fixes for more recent cards. Since the 9100 is pretty old, I doubt very much they've needed to change it's drivers for a while.

    I know it's cliche, but if it ain't broke . . . :)

Thanks Jones, at least now I can put my mind to rest. I appreciate the help. Per my last post, do you know anything about the website DriverAgent.com OR DriverGuide.com? If so, what do you know about them? Are they websites I can depend on for information or just websites out to make an extra buck?
    Thanks Again..

To be honest, I really don't trust sites like that. This is a perfect example of why. Sometimes they can cause more problems than they solve.

I've had MUCH better tech support from these forums than I've had anywhere else, either on the internet, or in an actual store. I can honestly tell you that if I have any problems with anything computer-related, these forums are my first (and usually only) stop.

Thanks again Jones, I think you are 100% correct about the websites, & I really only wanted an expert opinion on the matter!! Which, you have provided.
