[solved]Red light shows activity when there should be none.

    I ran Adaware and fixed (few problems) also Spybot and fixed a few there, but my harddrive light stays on and is busy when it seems it shouldn't be. Pages load at normal speed for my cable connection, but if I highlight a file and go to "properties" the light goes and goes and the properties box sometimes never does come up. So I have opted to attach my HighJack This log and see what you think. (I just defragged and only have systray - starter - Avgctrl - Explorer showing under cnt/alt/del) The log=

    Open HiJackThis. Click "Scan" Put a checkmark next to this:

    O2 - BHO: BHO - {00000015-A527-34E7-25C2-03A4E313B2E9} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winsrvs_1.dll

    Close ALL browser windows and click "Fix checked."

    Restart and post a fresh scan log.

    The light seems to be behaving a bit better, wish I knew what I deleted, don't like doing that but will give it a few days and see if things stay stable. Thanks. Check back later would ya? Later. . . . . . .

    open HJT-->"Config"-->"Backups"-->"Restore

    IF anything complains.
