    I ran an AVG rootkit scan and it found

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\DLA\DLAIFS_M.SYS";"IRP hook, \FileSystem\Cdfs IRP_MJ_FILE_SYSTEM_CONTROL -> DLAIFS_M.SYS +0x912";"Object is hidden"
    It says it is not a threat. When I clicked on remove it, I got a pop-up saying, "Object is hidden by a rootkit technique,,(which is usually used by a malicious software), do I still want to remove it?
    What should I do?
    Thanks dsmom

    Ignore it
    There are lots of legitimate hidden processes on acomputer & this is connected to sonic cd burning

    if you are stupid enough to remove it, you will not be able to burn CDs/DVDs & probably won't be able to even use the cd/dvd drive at all
