Firewall and problem connecting to internet.

All i did my best to remove "fake System Restore" off my friend PC using mbam.exe in Safe Mode and restored documents and programs using unhide.exe from Bleeping Computer and everything is OK apart from Internet which is Unidentified Network - No Internet - Public access & when i tried to start Windows Firewall i get this error code. 0x8007042c

I think it's related to each other but im not sure.

Tested internet on my laptop and internet works fine as normal.

IP v 4 was missing as i tried to turn off this to see if IPv6 can connect.

Forgot to include HJT logs. Will send when i come to mate's house.

Removing an infection does not fix the damage that it did.

    Try resetting TCP/IP first.

    Reset winsock:

    netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

    netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

    Reset TCP/IP:

    netsh int ip reset reset.log

    Via System Information.

It's the final time that i will see mate I will do the following

    Elvandil's solution
Full scan of MBam ( been used quick scan but virus could be there )
    Spybot Scan
    AVG Full scan
    Reinstall network driver.

That solution worked for me as it say that cannot find winsock.DLL but ran System Verifier then retry the steps and now it's all working now.

My friend is happy to have internet back so that's all OK for now.
