Solved: Right Click crashes Explorer

    Recently upgraded XP to SP3 (and IE7 to IE8). Now whenever I right click a file in windows explorer it says "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close". It also happens when I click on the "file" menu.

    pugetsails, Welcome to TSG. Your problem may be a bad context menu handler. Take your time and try the possible solution at the link below.

    Thanks for the prompt response. Removing the "Power Desk" application solved the problem. Pity, I like Power Desk.
