Solved: ripping cd

    My cd plays all the tracks correctly in my cd player,but when in Windows media player the tracks are not the same Anyone know why?

    did you alter the tags at all
    usually the Tags put numbers at the front of the tracks
    are they playing alphabetically

    No .I placed the CD in W media player,and when the tracks were displayed they were different from the CD tracks.

    how were they different? Different songs, or different order of the songs?

    I am sorry 'etaf' and 'valis'.The CD is part of a set of four and the list of tracks for each one had been put in the wrong folders [consequently what I thought was track one was track two and so on -I am red faced.
