Hi, I am trying to insert & delete records into my access database using the following statement in and Excel Macro...but I keep getting an error[tempquery is just a string which is a valid & tested sql stmt]

Set myDB = OpenDatabase(myDBFilespec)
Set rsPerformance = myDB.Execute(tempQuery)

What is the exact error message that you recieve?

What is the SQL statement that is represented by the varialble "tempQuery" ??

I was get an error of object not found...I just figured out what was I doing wrong I cannot set a rsPerformance = myDB.Execute(tempQuery)....it has to be just myDB.Execute(tempQuery)
